About Laudizen King

 

Laudizen King lives in Los Angeles and currently divides his time between Northern and Southern California. He was born in Manchester, Connecticut in 1950 and served with the US Army in Military Intelligence from January '69 through Oct '71. After the Army, he pursued a career in project management along with his passions for motorcycling, photography, and exploring the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

His poetry has been published in the US by the Wilderness House Literary Review and in the UK by Gloom Cupboard. His stories have appeared in the Tonopah Review, Word Catalyst Magazine, the 2 Wheel Muse, the MilSpeak Memo, the Raving Dove Literary Journal, and the Wilderness House Literary Review.

Laudizen published 'Signposts and Junctions' in 2009, a collection of memoirs and stories released as a trade paperback (now out of print).

In January 2010, Laudizen published 'The White Mountain Chronicles', a selection of memoirs and adventures gathered over two decades in the mountains of New Hampshire.

'Mosaics' was released in April of 2010, a volume of stories, essays, and travels celebrating the joys, disappointments, friends, people, and places experienced along the road of life.

'Death Valley Wind' was published in September of 2010 as a follow-up to 'Mosaics'.
